SingleBuck Hosting Guide

Add Your Domain in the Hosting Panel

This guide walks you through adding a domain to your SingleBuck hosting service from the SingleBuck Hosting Panel. Once your domain is added, your SingleBuck dashboard may take a few minutes to update while your hosting service syncs.

Before you begin

Make sure your hosting service is active and that you can open the Hosting Panel from My Account > Services. If your domain was purchased outside SingleBuck, you may also need to update its nameservers at your domain registrar. Our nameservers are ns1.singlebuck.com, ns2.singlebuck.com

Domain Setup Steps

Connect Your Domain to SingleBuck Hosting

Add your domain inside the Hosting Panel first.
After it appears there, SingleBuck will sync it back to your customer dashboard automatically.

👤

1. Sign in to My Account

Start from your SingleBuck customer account so you can access the correct hosting service.

  • Open My Account
  • Sign in using your SingleBuck account
  • Go to the Services tab
  • Find the hosting service you want to use
🖥️

2. Open the Hosting Panel

Domains are added inside the SingleBuck Hosting Panel.

  • Click Open Hosting Panel on your service card
  • Complete any required security checks, you will need to sign in with 2FA.
  • The panel will open for that hosting account
  • Do not share panel access with anyone you do not trust
🌐

3. Add the Web Domain

Inside the Hosting Panel, add the domain that you want to host on this service.

  • Open the Web section
  • Choose Add Web Domain
  • Enter your domain name, such as example.com
  • When adding your domain to SingleBuck Hosting Panel, enable (place a check) both DNS Support and Mail Support unless instructed otherwise by support. These options allow your website, email services, and domain records to be configured correctly.
  • Keep existing IP address – do not change it.
  • Click Save and wait for the server to process your request.
🧭

4. Check DNS or Nameservers

If your domain was purchased through SingleBuck, DNS may already be pointed correctly. If it was purchased elsewhere, update the domain at your registrar.

  • Domains purchased through SingleBuck should use SingleBuck DNS automatically
  • External domains must use the SingleBuck nameservers
  • Nameserver changes can take time to fully update
  • Avoid repeatedly changing DNS while setup is still updating
  • ns1.singlebuck.com
  • ns2.singlebuck.com
🔒

5. Enable SSL

SSL lets your website load securely using HTTPS. The domain must resolve correctly before SSL can be issued successfully.

  • Open the domain inside the Web section
  • Scroll down for “Enable SSL for this domain”
  • Check ‘Enable SSL for the domain’ and ‘Use Let’s Encrypt to obtain SSL certificate’
  • Wait while the Hosting Panel completes the certificate request

6. Wait for Dashboard Sync

After the domain is added in the Hosting Panel, your SingleBuck dashboard will update after the next service sync.

  • The Services page may show Checking for domains
  • Updates usually appear within a few minutes
  • Refresh your Services page after a short wait
  • Once synced, the domain appears under Quick Domain Access

What happens after your domain is added?

1

Your Hosting Panel saves the domain

The domain becomes part of the selected hosting account inside the panel.

2

SingleBuck syncs the service

Your dashboard checks for domains added in the Hosting Panel and updates your service card.

3

Quick access becomes available

Once synced, the domain appears in the Quick Domain Access area on your Services page.

4

You can continue setup

Install WordPress, create email accounts, manage files, or configure databases from the Hosting Panel.

🟨

If your domain was bought from SingleBuck

Your domain should already be prepared for SingleBuck hosting. Add it in the Hosting Panel and wait for your dashboard to sync.

  • Add the domain in the Hosting Panel
  • Check that SSL can be issued
  • Refresh your Services page after a few minutes
  • Contact support if it does not appear after a reasonable wait
🌍

If your domain was bought elsewhere

You must point the domain to SingleBuck from the registrar where you purchased it. This is usually done by changing the domain nameservers.

  • Log in to your external domain registrar
  • Find the domain’s nameserver settings
  • Replace the old nameservers with SingleBuck nameservers
  • Allow time for the change to update across the internet
🛠️

If the domain does not appear

If your domain was added in the Hosting Panel but does not appear in your dashboard yet, it may still be waiting for the next sync.

  • Wait a few minutes and refresh the Services page
  • Confirm the domain still appears in the Hosting Panel
  • Check that it was added to the correct hosting service
  • Contact support if the domain still does not appear

Important: moving a domain between services

If you remove a domain from one hosting service and want to add it to another, make sure the old web domain, DNS zone, and any mail domain are fully removed first. Leftover DNS or mail records may stop the domain from being added to the new service.
