SingleBuck Hosting

Hosting & Control Panel

Learn how to access your hosting tools, manage domains, enable SSL, create email accounts, work with databases, access phpMyAdmin, and understand your hosting panel.

Accessing Your Hosting Panel

Your hosting panel is where you manage the technical parts of your website, such as domains, SSL certificates, email accounts, databases, backups, and file access.

1. Log in to your SingleBuck Account Hub.
2. Open the Services section.
3. Choose the hosting service you want to manage.
4. Click Open Hosting Panel.

For your security, hosting panel access may require your SingleBuck account to be protected with Two-Factor Authentication, passkeys, or another supported verification method.

🌐

Domains

Domains control which website address points to your hosting account. In the hosting panel, use the Web or Domains area to add, view, or manage your website domains.

  • Add your domain before enabling SSL.
  • Make sure your domain DNS points to SingleBuck.
  • Use the correct domain spelling, including any subdomains.
🔒

SSL Certificates

SSL protects your website and allows it to load using https://. After your domain is added and pointed correctly, you can enable SSL from the domain settings.

  • Open your domain settings.
  • Enable SSL support.
  • Use Let’s Encrypt when available.
  • Save and allow a few minutes for activation.
📧

Email Accounts

If your hosting plan includes email, you can create mailboxes from the hosting panel. These are email addresses using your domain, such as hello@yourdomain.ca.

  • Open the Mail section.
  • Select your domain.
  • Create a new mailbox.
  • Use webmail or connect your mailbox to an email app.
🗄️

Databases

Databases store website information used by platforms like WordPress. Most customers do not need to edit databases directly, but the tools are available when needed.

  • Use Add Database to create a new database.
  • Use the row actions beside a database to manage it.
  • Only edit databases if you understand what you are changing.
🔑

phpMyAdmin Access

phpMyAdmin lets advanced users view and manage database tables. SingleBuck uses database-specific access from the hosting panel.

  • Go to the Databases section.
  • Find the database you want to open.
  • Click the phpMyAdmin/login icon on that database row.
  • You will be securely passed through for that selected database.

The phpMyAdmin access button works per database. If you have more than one database, choose the row for the database you want to manage.

💾

Backups

Backups help protect your website data. Depending on your hosting plan, backups may be created automatically or managed through your hosting service.

  • Use backups before major changes when possible.
  • Download important backups for extra protection.
  • Contact support if you need help restoring a site.
📂

File Access

File access lets you manage website files through FTP, SFTP, or supported file tools. This is mostly used by developers or advanced users.

  • Use the hosting panel to locate file access details.
  • Keep file credentials private.
  • Do not delete files unless you know what they do.
📊

Resource Usage

Your hosting service includes limits such as storage and bandwidth. Resource usage helps you see how much of your plan is being used.

  • Storage shows how much disk space your files, mail, and databases use.
  • Bandwidth shows traffic used by visitors and services.
  • If you are close to your limit, you may need to upgrade your plan.

Common Tasks

How do I add a new domain?

Open your hosting panel, go to the domain or web section, choose Add Domain, enter your domain name, and save. Your domain must also point to SingleBuck using the correct DNS settings.

How do I enable SSL?

Open the domain settings, enable SSL, choose Let’s Encrypt if available, and save. SSL will only work after the domain is properly connected to your hosting account.

How do I create an email address?

Go to the Mail section, choose your domain, and create a new mailbox. You can then access it through webmail or configure it in your preferred email app.

How do I open phpMyAdmin?

Go to Databases and click the phpMyAdmin/login icon beside the specific database you want to access. The access is database-specific and should be opened from the database row.

What if I do not understand a setting?

If you are unsure what something does, do not change it. Hosting tools can affect your live website, email, and database. Contact SingleBuck Support if you need help.

Important Safety Notes

Some hosting tools can make major changes to your website. Deleting files, changing DNS records, removing databases, or editing database tables can cause your website or email to stop working.

If you are not sure what a setting does, contact SingleBuck Support before making changes.
