Connect Your Domain to SingleBuck

This guide explains how to point your domain to SingleBuck, secure your account, and add your domain inside the hosting control panel using the default settings.

Before you begin: Domain registration is not included with SingleBuck website packages. You must own your domain through a domain registrar before it can be connected to your SingleBuck hosting service.

What You Need

Before connecting your domain, make sure you have access to the following:

1. Your domain registrar account, where your domain was purchased.
2. Your SingleBuck account.
3. Two-Factor Authentication enabled before accessing the hosting panel.
4. Your hosting service active inside your SingleBuck Account Hub.
🔐

Step 1: Enable 2FA

For security, hosting panel access is required your SingleBuck account to be protected with Two-Factor Authentication.

  • Sign in to your SingleBuck account.
  • Open your security settings.
  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  • Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
  • Enter the verification code to complete setup.
🌐

Step 2: Update Nameservers

Log in to the company where your domain was purchased and update your domain nameservers to SingleBuck.

ns1.singlebuck.com
ns2.singlebuck.com

Nameserver changes can take up to 24–48 hours to fully update worldwide, although many domains begin working sooner.

🖥️

Step 3: Open Hosting Panel

Once your account is secured, open your hosting service from your SingleBuck Account Hub.

  • Go to My Account.
  • Open your hosting or website service.
  • Select the option to open the hosting control panel.
  • Complete any required verification prompts.

Step 4: Add Domain in Control Panel

Inside the hosting control panel, add your domain using the default settings unless SingleBuck support instructs otherwise.

  • Open the Web section.
  • Click Add Web Domain.
  • Enter your domain name, such as yourdomain.com.
  • Leave the default options enabled.
  • Save the domain.

Recommended Default Settings

When adding your domain in the hosting panel, SingleBuck recommends using the default settings unless your service instructions say otherwise.

Create DNS Zone: Keep enabled so your domain records can be managed properly.
Enable SSL: Keep enabled so your website can use HTTPS.
Enable Let’s Encrypt: Keep enabled to request a free SSL certificate.
Web Statistics: Optional, but usually safe to leave enabled.
Restart Web Server: Keep enabled if shown, so the domain applies correctly.

After Adding Your Domain

After your domain is added, allow time for DNS and SSL to finish updating. If the nameservers have not fully updated yet, SSL may not activate immediately.

1. Visit your domain in a browser.
2. Confirm the website loads correctly.
3. Confirm the address begins with https://.
4. If email is included with your hosting plan, confirm your mail settings after DNS has updated.

Important Domain Responsibility Notice

SingleBuck can help guide you through domain setup and connect an existing domain to your hosting service. However, you remain responsible for keeping access to your domain registrar account and renewing your domain registration before it expires.
