Installation Guide
Install ClassiCore Lite or ClassiCore Pro, complete the recommended setup, and prepare your platform for members, moderation, branding, and commercial use.
Install ClassiCore with confidence
These instructions are written for ordinary WordPress administrators. You do not need command-line access, but you do need permission to install plugins and themes.
ClassiCore Lite is the free personals edition. ClassiCore Pro is the commercial platform edition for personals, classifieds, rentals, monetization, licensing, and advanced platform ownership.
Before you begin
- Administrator access: You must be able to install and activate WordPress plugins.
- A current backup: Back up the database and website files.
- A compatible WordPress site: Use a current WordPress version and supported PHP environment.
- The correct package: Use the official Lite ZIP or the Pro ZIP supplied through SingleBuck.
Safe installation habits
- Keep the downloaded plugin file zipped.
- Install major updates on a staging site when possible.
- Do not activate Lite and Pro at the same time.
- Test registration, login, profile creation, and messaging after installation.
Which version should you install?
Choose the edition that matches the kind of platform you intend to operate.
For a free personals community
Choose Lite when you want to launch a functional personals or dating-style community without WooCommerce monetization.

Install ClassiCore Lite
Use these steps for a new Lite installation on a WordPress website.
Download the ClassiCore Lite ZIP
Download the current ClassiCore Lite package from the official ClassiCore or SingleBuck download location. Keep the file zipped.
Open the WordPress plugin installer
Sign in to WordPress as an administrator, then go to:
Dashboard → Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin
Upload and install the ZIP
Select the ClassiCore Lite ZIP file, choose Install Now, and wait for WordPress to finish extracting the plugin.
Activate ClassiCore Lite
Select Activate Plugin. WordPress should then make the ClassiCore administration area available.
Open ClassiCore onboarding
Open the ClassiCore onboarding page from the WordPress administration menu. Review the setup information before finishing onboarding.
- Activate the Personals vertical.
- Review the Canvas theme recommendation.
- Open the setup guide and Knowledge Base.
- Review available Pro and add-on options.
- Select Finish Onboarding only when you are ready.
Install the Canvas theme
Install ClassiCore Canvas for the best compatibility and user experience. The download link is available inside onboarding.
Dashboard → Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme → Upload Theme
Install ClassiCore Pro
Use these steps for a new Pro installation or when upgrading an existing Lite website.
Purchase or obtain your Pro license
Complete the ClassiCore Pro purchase through SingleBuck. Keep your license information and the supplied plugin ZIP available.
Create a full website backup
Back up the WordPress database and website files before replacing Lite or installing Pro on an established site.
Deactivate ClassiCore Lite when upgrading
On an existing Lite site, deactivate Lite before activating Pro. Do not delete platform data unless the documentation specifically instructs you to do so.
Dashboard → Plugins → Installed Plugins → ClassiCore Lite → Deactivate
Upload ClassiCore Pro
Go to the WordPress plugin installer, upload the Pro ZIP, and select Install Now.
Dashboard → Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin
Activate Pro and enter the license
Activate ClassiCore Pro, open its licensing or onboarding screen, and enter the license details supplied by SingleBuck.
Select and configure your vertical
Choose the platform model that applies to your website, then complete the related setup.

Install only the products required by your platform.

Complete the platform setup
Installing the plugin is only the first step. Review these areas before inviting users or accepting payments.
Platform setup
- Confirm the correct vertical is active.
- Set the required WordPress pages.
- Configure profile or listing fields.
- Review account, messaging, and media settings.
- Test registration and login.
Appearance
- Install and activate Canvas.
- Add the platform logo.
- Configure colours and branding.
- Review desktop and mobile layouts.
- Check headers, footers, and navigation.
Safety and launch
- Review moderation and reporting tools.
- Set legal, privacy, terms, and contact pages.
- Test support access and official accounts.
- Run a complete user journey test.
- Create a fresh backup before launch.
Prepare ClassiCore Pro for commerce
Complete these additional steps only when using ClassiCore Pro with WooCommerce.
Commerce
- Install and configure WooCommerce.
- Set currency, payment methods, tax, and email settings.
- Create the required upgrade products.
- Map products to ClassiCore plans or features.
- Test checkout with a controlled transaction.
Commercial readiness
- Confirm the ClassiCore license is active.
- Review renewal and support terms.
- Check transactional emails.
- Test successful and failed payment paths.
- Verify plan upgrades and expiry behaviour.
Installation troubleshooting
These are the first checks to make when WordPress does not install or activate ClassiCore as expected.
The ZIP will not install
- Confirm you uploaded the plugin ZIP and not an outer download folder.
- Check the server upload limit and available disk space.
- Confirm the ZIP was not corrupted during download.
- Try downloading a fresh copy from the official source.
Activation causes an error
- Confirm the website meets the supported WordPress and PHP requirements.
- Temporarily disable conflicting plugins and test again.
- Check the WordPress debug log or hosting error log.
- Restore the backup if the website becomes inaccessible.
The ClassiCore menu is missing
- Confirm the plugin is active.
- Confirm you are signed in as an administrator.
- Refresh the WordPress administration area.
- Check whether an admin-menu or role-management plugin is hiding the menu.
Pro does not recognize the license
- Re-enter the license exactly as supplied.
- Confirm the license is assigned to the correct website.
- Check that the website can make outbound HTTPS requests.
- Contact SingleBuck support with the site URL and license order details.
Confirm the installation before launch
A successful activation does not necessarily mean the full platform is ready. Complete this final review before opening the site to members.
Technical confirmation
- ClassiCore is active and no activation error is displayed.
- The correct edition and vertical are active.
- Canvas and required extensions are active.
- Permalinks, registration, login, and account pages work.
- Desktop and mobile views have been checked.
Operational confirmation
- A test member can create and manage a profile or listing.
- Messaging, uploads, reports, and moderation have been tested.
- Branding, legal pages, and support information are complete.
- Paid plans and checkout work when using Pro commerce.
- A fresh pre-launch backup has been created.
