Does SingleBuck build my WooCommerce store for me?
Yes. Our ecommerce website packages include WordPress and WooCommerce setup, core store pages, cart and checkout configuration, basic payment and shipping setup, launch checks, and entry of the customer-supplied simple products included in your selected package. More complex work may require a custom quote.
Can I move my SingleBuck WooCommerce store to another host?
Yes. A WordPress and WooCommerce website is generally portable to another compatible hosting provider. Site files, database content, and store data can be migrated. Some premium themes, plugins, third-party services, or custom integrations may require new licences or adjustments. Migration assistance may be quoted separately.
How is WooCommerce different from a hosted platform such as Shopify?
Shopify provides a managed ecommerce platform whose live storefront depends on an active platform subscription. WooCommerce runs on WordPress under your chosen hosting arrangement, giving you more flexibility to change hosting providers. In exchange, a WooCommerce store needs hosting, updates, security maintenance, and occasional technical care.
Do I have to buy SingleBuck Care to keep my store?
No. SingleBuck Care is optional and separately priced. You can manage updates and changes yourself or request eligible hands-on help at $49/hour. Hosting is separate from ongoing hands-on maintenance; keeping hosting active is necessary for your site to stay online.
What happens after the included first year of hosting?
Every ecommerce website package includes the first year of SingleBuck Hosting and an eligible first-year domain registration worth up to $20. Hosting and domain registration renew afterward at their applicable rates. Upgraded hosting, paid software licences, and optional Care have separate charges.
Will I still need to maintain my WordPress and WooCommerce store?
Yes. WordPress, WooCommerce, plugins, and themes need ongoing attention for compatibility, security, and reliability. You can maintain your store yourself, use pay-as-you-go help, or choose the SingleBuck Care level suited to your needs. Not all work or third-party costs are included in a Care plan.
Custom quotes are available. Product setup requires customer-supplied product names, prices, images, descriptions, and category details. Complex products, variations, subscriptions, bookings, memberships, custom checkout flows, missing content, image editing, copywriting, paid plugins, premium themes, advertising costs, premium-priced domain extensions, domain renewals, and third-party service fees may require additional billing or a custom quote.
