Set Up Email and Webmail

Create professional email addresses using your domain and securely access your inbox through SingleBuck Webmail.

!

Before you begin: Email service must be included with your hosting plan, and your domain must already be connected to SingleBuck before you create an email account.

What You Need

Before setting up your email, make sure you have:

  • An active SingleBuck hosting service that includes email.
  • A domain connected to the SingleBuck nameservers.
  • Access to your SingleBuck Account Hub.
  • Two-Factor Authentication enabled on your SingleBuck account.
1

Open the SingleBuck Hosting Panel

Access your hosting service securely through the SingleBuck Account Hub.

  • Sign in to your SingleBuck account.
  • Go to My Account.
  • Open your active hosting or website service.
  • Select Open Hosting Panel.
  • Complete any required security verification.

Security note: Always open the SingleBuck Hosting Panel through your Account Hub. Never share access to your Account Hub or its security codes with another person.

2

Add Your Mail Domain

Your domain must be present in the Mail section before email addresses can be created.

  • Open the Mail section of the SingleBuck Hosting Panel.
  • Select Add Mail Domain.
  • Enter your domain without www, such as yourdomain.com.
  • Leave the recommended default options enabled.
  • Select Save.

Already listed? If your domain already appears in the Mail section, do not add it again. Continue to the next step.

3

Create an Email Account

After the mail domain has been added, create the email address you want to use.

  • Locate your domain in the Mail section.
  • Open the domain to view its email accounts.
  • Select Add Mail Account.
  • Enter the name you want before the @ symbol.
  • Create a strong, unique password.
  • Enter a display name if the option is available.
  • Select Save.

For example, creating the account name info under yourdomain.com gives you:

info@yourdomain.com

Important: Your complete email address is your webmail username. Use info@yourdomain.com, not simply info.

4

Open Webmail

Webmail lets you read and send email from a browser without installing a separate email application.

  • Open the official SingleBuck Webmail page.
  • Enter your complete email address.
  • Enter the password created for that mailbox.
  • Select Login.

SingleBuck Webmail is available at:

https://mail.singlebuck.ca

Webmail becomes available automatically after your email account is created. Nothing needs to be installed separately.

Recommended Mail Domain Settings

Keep the recommended default settings unless SingleBuck Support has provided different instructions.

DKIM Support

Keep enabled. DKIM helps receiving providers verify that messages were genuinely sent from your domain.

Antivirus Support

Keep enabled when available to help scan incoming messages for potentially harmful content.

Spam Filtering

Keep enabled to help identify and filter unwanted email messages.

Catch-All Email

Leave disabled unless specifically needed. Catch-all mailboxes commonly receive additional spam.

Your Webmail Login Details

Use the credentials created for the individual mailbox, not your general SingleBuck account password.

Field What to Enter
Username Your complete email address, such as info@yourdomain.com
Password The password created for that specific email account
Webmail Address mail.singlebuck.ca

Managing Your Email Accounts

Email accounts can be managed through the Mail section of the SingleBuck Hosting Panel. Depending on your plan and available features, you may be able to:

  • Create additional email addresses.
  • Change an email account password.
  • Set storage limits for individual mailboxes.
  • Create email forwarding addresses.
  • Create automatic replies.
  • Suspend or remove an email account.

Before deleting an email account: Download or transfer any messages you need to keep. Removing a mailbox may permanently remove the email stored inside it.

Changing a Mailbox Password

If you forget a mailbox password or believe it may have been exposed, change it through the SingleBuck Hosting Panel.

  • Open the Mail section.
  • Locate the affected domain and email account.
  • Select the option to edit the account.
  • Enter a new, unique password.
  • Save the changes.

After changing the password, update it on every phone, tablet, computer, or email application connected to that mailbox.

Test Your New Email Account

Once setup is complete:

  • Sign in to SingleBuck Webmail.
  • Send a test message to an outside email address.
  • Reply to the message to confirm incoming email is working.
  • Check the Spam or Junk folder if the message does not appear immediately.

New domains and recently updated DNS records may require time to become fully active. Email delivery may be temporarily delayed while DNS changes update across the internet.

Email Security Recommendations

  • Use a different password for every email account.
  • Do not reuse your Account Hub password as a mailbox password.
  • Never send mailbox passwords through ordinary email.
  • Change the password immediately if you notice unfamiliar sent messages.
  • Do not open unexpected attachments or sign-in links.
  • Confirm that you are visiting mail.singlebuck.ca before entering your login information.

Connecting Email to Another Application

You can use webmail directly in your browser or connect your SingleBuck email account to a compatible application on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Applications such as Apple Mail, Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, and mobile mail applications may require incoming and outgoing mail server settings.

Troubleshooting Webmail

I cannot sign in

Confirm that you are using your complete email address and the password created for that mailbox. Your Account Hub password and mailbox password are separate.

My domain does not appear in the Mail section

The mail domain may not have been added yet, or email may not be included with the service. Add the mail domain or contact SingleBuck Support.

I can send email but cannot receive it

Your domain’s DNS or mail records may still be updating. Confirm that the domain uses the correct SingleBuck nameservers.

I can receive email but cannot send it

Confirm that the mailbox is active and has not reached its storage limit. Try signing out of webmail and signing back in.

Messages are going to spam

New domains may need time to build a sending reputation. Avoid bulk or unsolicited messages and keep the recommended mail security settings enabled.

The Webmail button does not open

Visit https://mail.singlebuck.ca directly and sign in using your complete email address.
